Blowdown or Flash tank
The blowdown tank, or flash tank, is used to safely dispose of water and sediment, leaving the boiler at a high temperature and pressure during repeated blow downs.
A temperature sensor and an automatic cold inlet water valve help maintain a safe water temperature.
Our blowdown tanks meet the requirements of CSA B51 Code and all have a CRN for the Canadian market. They are built to ASME Section VIII Div 1 for the U.S. market.
